# Memory-Entry Starter Set

## What it does
Ten specific facts worth putting in your AI's memory, beyond the obvious ones like your job title. Most people turn memory on and never actually fill it - this is the fill.

## Why it works
Memory features only help with what you've told them. The entries that change answer quality aren't biographical facts; they're decision context: what you're building, what you refuse, how you want to be challenged. Ten good entries beat a hundred trivia.

## The ten entries

Say each one to your AI in a normal message ("Remember this about me: ...") or add them in the memory settings directly. Adapt the bracketed parts.

```
1. I'm building [the real project of this season], and most of my questions
   connect to it even when I don't say so.
2. My default failure mode is [yours - e.g., "starting new things instead of
   finishing current ones"]. Flag it when you see it.
3. When two goods conflict, I lean [your actual tiebreaker - e.g., "toward the
   family, away from the optics"].
4. I'd rather hear "I don't know" than a confident guess.
5. Challenge my ideas before helping me execute them. I keep my own counsel;
   I want a sparring partner, not a cheerleader.
6. My writing voice matters to me. Suggest, don't rewrite, unless I ask.
7. I make decisions [how you actually do - e.g., "fast, then adjust" or "slow,
   once, permanently"]. Match your advice to that.
8. The people whose interests I'm usually weighing are [spouse, kids, partner,
   team - name them]. Factor them in without me restating it.
9. I am deliberately NOT doing [the thing you've chosen against this season].
   Don't suggest it.
10. When I correct you, treat it as permanent and act on it in every future
    conversation.
```

## How to verify it worked
Start a fresh conversation and ask for advice on a real decision without giving background. If the answer uses your context unprompted, memory is working. If it interviews you from zero, the entries didn't save - check the tool's memory settings page.
